Acura Dealer Near Broad Ripple and Nora

Nora is the Indianapolis neighborhood on the north side that reaches 96th and Keystone, where Ed Martin Acura sits, about 3 miles from the heart of Nora and 6 from Broad Ripple. Our address, 3800 E 96th St, sits in Nora's 46240 ZIP code, so for much of Nora we are more in the neighborhood than near in it.

One property covers all your auto needs: new Acuras, Acura Certified Pre-Owned, a used lot that runs well past the brand, and service, parts, tires, and collision repair. Pick the door you need: new Acura inventory or used cars to shop, our service center to book work, or the collision center after a bad day on the parkway.

The Right Acura for These Streets

The Right Acura for These Streets

These two neighborhoods put opposite demands on a car, so the honest starting question is where yours will live. Broad Ripple's older housing means older, tighter garages, many reached from alleys, with curb parking out front. There, a shorter body, a tight turning circle, and cameras that cover what the mirrors miss earn their keep every single day. Nora asks for the opposite: its larger lots put no squeeze on a vehicle's size, its households usually run more than one, and the question becomes room for the family and traction for a wet January morning.

Where you park it What that actually asks for Where people tend to land
A Broad Ripple bungalow with an alley garage and curb parking out front A short body, a tight turn, and cameras covering what the mirrors miss The ADX or the Integra
A Nora house with a deep drive and a modern garage Seats, cargo room, and grip on a wet January morning The MDX or the RDX
A household running 2 vehicles across both patterns One that carries the family, one that fits the alley An MDX or RDX paired with an ADX or an Integra

On the traction half: every RDX comes with Super Handling All-Wheel Drive, and the MDX and ADX both offer all-wheel drive (AWD), which matters most here pulling away from a wet, salted stop rather than in deep snow. Our Acura specials change monthly, so look over the current offers before you commit to a model, then book a test drive on your own street grid rather than just the highway.

Used Cars and Certified Acuras

Used Cars and Certified Acuras

The used lot here is fed by trade-ins, which makes it genuinely mixed: Mercedes-Benz, Audi, and INFINITI trades share rows with Hondas, Toyotas, and Subarus. If the plan is a good car rather than a specific badge, the used inventory is one lot to walk instead of a day of driving between them, and the luxury cars and under-50,000-mile cuts narrow it fast.

Certified is a separate shelf, not a nicer corner of used. Every Acura Certified Pre-Owned car has passed the program's 182-point inspection before it can carry the name, keeps its own listings, and has its own CPO specials.

Service When Trips Are Short

Service When Trips Are Short

A car that lives in these neighborhoods can go weeks without a trip long enough to warm the engine through, and those first cold minutes are where most engine wear happens; a 2-mile errand is almost all of it cold. Brakes work harder here too, because the Monon Trail crosses 86th Street, Broad Ripple Avenue, and Westfield Boulevard at street level and those crossings carry walkers and cyclists all day. Salt rides the streets from roughly mid-November into March, and under Nora's mature trees, sap and leaf litter quietly rough up paint and wiper blades.

The maintenance list stays the same. The schedule moves to the early side of your Maintenance Minder's calls, and the wear points above decide what gets looked at:

  • Routine maintenance runs through Accelerated Service: a complete service and a multi-point inspection in 60 minutes or less, handled by Acura-trained technician teams using Genuine Acura Parts and Fluids. The inspection reaches the short-trip wear points: brakes, the underside, wipers, and fluids.
  • A noise, a warning light, or anything that needs diagnosing first is its own job, quoted at our service center.
  • Tires that took the winter hardest go to our tire center, and owners who wrench at home order through the parts department.

The hour is short enough to wait through rather than arrange a ride around. For longer jobs, ask when you book about one of our loaner cars; our service hours stretch past the ordinary workday at both ends, so scheduling service before work costs a detour, not a morning.

Collision Repair

Collision Repair

Bodywork after a crash happens on this property too. Our collision center repairs collision damage on Acuras and on the other makes we sell, which keeps the estimate, the repair, and the car's service history under one roof. Start there for an estimate.

Broad Ripple and Nora, Mapped

Broad Ripple and Nora, Mapped

Neither neighborhood is its own town, and that matters mostly when a form asks for a city: every address here is Indianapolis, including on our Finance Center application. Nora was never incorporated at all; the nearest thing to an official boundary is the Nora Center drawn in a 2019 county land-use plan around 86th Street and the Monon crossing, and we sit at the north end of the same neighborhood, up on 96th.

ZIP code The area it covers Worth knowing
46220 Broad Ripple, along the White River and the Central Canal One code, 6 school authorities: never assume a school from this ZIP
46240 Keystone at the Crossing and central Nora, where we are Also holds Meridian Hills and Williams Creek, which are separate incorporated towns
46260 Western Nora No legal line divides it from 46240

We serve both neighborhoods, the wider north side, and Central Indiana beyond them. For anyone moving here with school-age kids, check the exact address with the school district before you count on an assignment; the boundaries follow townships and were drawn separately from the ZIPs and the roads.

Getting Here

The address is 3800 E 96th St, Indianapolis, IN 46240. The corner is 96th and Keystone, which Nora knows as Keystone at the Crossing, and 96th Street itself carries the Marion and Hamilton county line, so we sit along the very top edge of Marion County. From Broad Ripple the run is straight north and never leaves the north side; from most of Nora it is a few minutes, some of it inside our own ZIP.

If you are mapping the drive: Clear Path 465, the rebuild where I-465 meets I-69, is scheduled to run into late 2026. That junction is over on the northeast side, well past us, so coming from either neighborhood your route does not go through it, but a rebuild that size pushes traffic onto other roads while it lasts. Check the current route and the map on our hours and directions page rather than driving it from memory.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you in relation to Broad Ripple and Nora?

From Nora, a few minutes: we sit in 46240 at 96th and Keystone, and some trips from Nora stay within the same ZIP code. Broad Ripple is just south of us, close enough that the drive never leaves the north side. The map and current step-by-step directions are on our directions page.

Is Nora a town?

No, and it never has been. Nora was never incorporated, so there is no charter, no town hall, and no legal boundary to it. What it has instead is a community council, founded in 1967, and a good deal of local agreement about where it begins and ends. The nearest thing to an official line is the Nora Center on a 2019 county planning map, drawn around 86th Street and the Monon crossing.

Two genuinely separate incorporated towns do sit inside the same ZIP codes: Meridian Hills and Williams Creek are towns rather than neighborhoods. Neither of those towns changes your mailing address: whatever city your own mail already shows is the one to keep writing.

Is Broad Ripple on the north side or the northeast side?

North. Northeast is Castleton and Lawrence, and around here that distinction gets made without anyone thinking about it. Measured from the city center, Broad Ripple sits about 6 miles north along the White River, and we are north of that again out at 96th Street. Our directions and map page shows where that falls relative to your own street.

What is in the new lineup right now?

Four vehicles: MDX, RDX, ADX, and Integra. One page, new Acura SUVs, carries all three SUVs together; the MDX and the RDX each have a page to themselves as well.

Which Acura is easiest to live with on a narrow Broad Ripple street?

The ADX or the Integra, on size alone. Their size makes curb parking and an alley approach easier. The ADX is the smallest SUV Acura makes; the Integra is the one model of the four with no SUV body at all. The three SUVs sit side by side on new Acura SUVs if you want to compare them there.

Can I have my Acura serviced here if I live in Broad Ripple or Nora?

Yes. Our own ZIP, 46240, is one of the three these two neighborhoods use, so some trips from Nora stay within the same ZIP code; from elsewhere in Nora or from Broad Ripple, it is a short run. Routine maintenance runs through Accelerated Service, while a job that needs diagnosing first is quoted separately at our service center.

How long is a routine visit?

60 minutes or less. A team of Acura-trained technicians handles a complete service and a multi-point inspection together rather than in sequence, working with Genuine Acura Parts and Fluids. Accelerated Service promises exactly that hour, and it is short enough to wait through rather than arrange a ride home around.

What happens when a repair runs past that hour?

Ask when you book whether one of our cars is available, so you can continue with your day. Because our hours stretch past the ordinary workday at both ends, dropping the car off does not have to eat a morning; the current times are on our hours and directions page, and the map there marks the service entrance.

Does short-trip city driving really need different attention?

The maintenance list does not change. How often the car needs looking at does, and short-trip driving moves it toward the shorter end of whatever your Maintenance Minder calls for. Engines that rarely warm through, brakes worked hard at the Monon crossings, and an underside that stays wet through a salted winter all wear a car faster than the odometer suggests. That wear is exactly what a multi-point inspection looks for, and the inspection comes with the routine work booked through Accelerated Service. Tires that came out of winter worse than the rest of the car go to the tire center.

Is all-wheel drive worth having here?

It matters here, though less for deep snow than for the everyday case. The moment it earns its keep is pulling away from a stop on a wet, salted street in February. The RDX has it on every version, and both the MDX and the ADX offer it. All three are gathered under new Acura SUVs, and the RDX, one size below the MDX, keeps listings of its own.

Do you fix collision damage?

Yes, at our own collision center, on the same property as everything else. It repairs collision damage on Acuras and on the other makes we sell. Start there for the estimate, whichever insurer is involved.

What else turns up among the used cars?

More than Acuras. Cars traded in here come from every direction, luxury brands and everyday ones alike, and the used cars reflect that rather than the showroom. Whatever is currently available sits on our used vehicle listings, and the certified cars, each with a 182-point inspection behind it, have listings of their own.

Can I do the financing before I come in?

Nearly all of it can. Start at our Finance Center, which handles a lease that is ending, a value on your trade-in, the monthly figure, and the pre-approval itself. If an old credit freeze is sitting on your file, the Unfreeze Your Credit walkthrough is the way to lift it before you apply. What cannot be done from home is the drive itself, and from either neighborhood that is the short part.

Where are the current Acura offers?

On our specials page, each one listed with the terms attached to it. They change often, so it is worth a look before you settle on a model rather than after.
