Is Certified Worth It on a Used RDX?
A certified RDX is worth it when the extra coverage matters to you, so check how much original factory coverage a
non-certified RDX still has. Acura's New Vehicle Limited Warranty runs 4 years or 50,000 miles, and its Powertrain Limited
Warranty runs 6 years or 70,000 miles, each ending at whichever limit you reach first. Acura's certified coverage is
separate from those warranties and starts when the New Vehicle Limited Warranty ends.
Certification counts most on an RDX with little factory coverage left. A Precision Certified RDX bought after its new-car
warranty has expired still gets non-powertrain coverage, while a non-certified RDX of the same age is already past that
warranty. A certified RDX was also inspected before delivery and met Acura's certification standards at that time. One
bought from us comes through Acura Certified Pre-Owned's 182-point certification.
An ordinary used RDX can be enough when it is young and still has plenty of factory coverage left. Check its first day in
service and odometer against those factory terms before you decide. Browse
