The 2026 Acura MDX and the 2026 Acura RDX both offer a head-up display. On both it is a 10.5-inch unit, and on both it comes with the Advance Package, which Acura writes into the grade name itself: an MDX with Advance Package, an RDX with Advance Package. Grade is Acura's word for what most shoppers call a trim level, and the display covers three of the six MDX grades and two of the five RDX grades.
Every grade with Advance Package in its name carries the display. Grades without those words in the name do not.
Two things before the tables. SH-AWD is Acura's all-wheel-drive system, and it appears in nearly every price line below. And these are Acura's 2026 starting prices at launch, before the destination charge, which is added separately, so they are best used to weigh one grade against the next.

A-Spec is the sportier appearance treatment, and on its own it brings no head-up display. The Advance Package brings one. So an MDX A-Spec and an MDX A-Spec with Advance Package are two different grades: the first does not have the display, the second does. On both models the A-Spec with Advance Package launched exactly $2,000 above the Advance grade beneath it, and since both of those grades already carry the display, that $2,000 is not what the display costs.
On drivetrain: every grade that carries the display is an SH-AWD grade. The MDX offers front-wheel drive on two grades, the MDX and the MDX with Technology Package, and every 2026 MDX grade above those is SH-AWD. Every 2026 RDX grade is SH-AWD.

The step is smaller on the RDX from every starting point. Within a model, read each difference against where it starts: the A-Spec step looks like the cheapest way up only because an A-Spec already costs more to begin with. And in every row the difference buys the whole Advance Package, not the display on its own.
Of the grades that carry the head-up display, the least expensive is the RDX with Advance Package, which launched at $52,850 for 2026, not counting the destination charge.
That is $14,050 below the least expensive MDX with the display, the MDX with Advance Package at $66,900 at launch. It also sits below the base MDX with SH-AWD, which launched at $54,000 and does not carry the display.
The Advance Package is the equipment step on both models, and the head-up display is one line on a long list.
The MDX Type S with Advance Package carries the MDX Advance equipment listed above too, since the Advance Package is part of its name.

On Acura's 2026 prices at launch, not counting the destination charge: $12,900 from the MDX with SH-AWD, $7,500 from the MDX with Technology Package with SH-AWD, and $6,500 from the MDX A-Spec. On the RDX, $7,750 from the RDX, $5,150 from the RDX with Technology Package and $4,150 from the RDX A-Spec.
On both models it brings the head-up display, heated outboard rear seats, a heated steering wheel and front seats with sixteen powered adjustments. The MDX then adds a surround-view camera, lit outer door handles, roof rails and a massage function in those seats. The RDX adds the Multiview Camera System, remote engine start, rain-sensing wipers with a de-icer, power-folding mirrors, LED puddle lights, a hands-free power tailgate, acoustic rear side glass and the adaptive damper system.
Only if it is an A-Spec with Advance Package. This is the mix-up we see most often, because A-Spec sounds like the top of the range and is not. A-Spec is the sportier look; Advance is the equipment step, and the display follows the equipment.
