The 2026 Acura ADX

The 2026 Acura ADX is the most accessible way into the Acura lineup, a compact luxury SUV built for buyers stepping into the premium segment without giving up what makes an Acura feel like one. At Ed Martin Acura, the ADX anchors the entry point of our new Acura range, and what tends to surprise shoppers first is how much arrives standard, even on the base trim. The ADX shares its global platform and turbocharged 1.5-liter engine with the Integra, so it drives with a low, planted character rather than the tall, soft feel of a typical small crossover. The sections below cover how the three trims differ, what the engine and all-wheel-drive system deliver, and where the ADX lands on pricing, technology, and safety.

What's New for 2026

What's New for 2026

The 2026 ADX carries over its well-received design, adding a new exterior color and holding its starting price. Acura introduced Double Apex Blue Pearl II this year, a deep metallic blue that can be paired with an Orchid interior accented by blue microsuede inserts. The starting price holds steady from last year, which stands out in a market where most vehicles have crept upward. If you looked at a 2025 ADX and waited, very little has changed mechanically, so the decision now comes down to trim, color, and drivetrain rather than model year.

Trims & Pricing

Trims & Pricing

The ADX comes in three trims, and every one can be ordered with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Pricing climbs in clear steps, and because all-wheel drive is a standalone option on each trim, you are not pushed into a higher trim just to get it.

Trim FWD AWD
ADX Mid-$30Ks High-$30Ks
ADX A-Spec High-$30Ks Low-$40Ks
ADX A-Spec with Advance Package Low-$40Ks Mid-$40Ks

These are manufacturer's suggested retail price ranges before tax, options, and destination. Final pricing is set at the dealership.

Equipment builds steadily from the base ADX up to the A-Spec with Advance Package.

Feature ADX A-Spec A-Spec Advance
Wheels 18-inch alloy 19-inch alloy 19-inch Berlina Black
Moonroof Standard Panoramic Panoramic
Seat material Leatherette Leatherette + microsuede Leather-trimmed
Ventilated front seats Standard Standard
Heated steering wheel Standard
Driver's seat 8-way power 8-way power 12-way power with memory
Audio 8-speaker 8-speaker 15-speaker Bang & Olufsen
Google built-in & Alexa Standard
LED fog lights Standard Standard
Multi-view camera & parking sensors Standard

The base ADX focuses on value and comes well-equipped rather than stripped down. The A-Spec is built for buyers who want a sportier presence, inside and out. The A-Spec with Advance Package tops the range, adding premium audio, connected-car services, and the cabin's most comfort-focused features.

In front-wheel-drive form, the base ADX and the A-Spec land among the more attainably priced ways into a luxury crossover, which you can weigh against our other Acura models under $40,000.

Performance & All-Wheel Drive

Performance & All-Wheel Drive

Every 2026 ADX runs the same turbocharged 1.5-liter VTEC four-cylinder, producing 190 horsepower.

Specification Detail
Engine Turbocharged 1.5-liter VTEC inline-4
Horsepower 190 hp
Torque 179 lb-ft
Transmission CVT with paddle shifters
Drivetrain FWD standard, AWD available on all trims
Fuel economy (FWD) 26 city / 31 hwy / 28 combined
Fuel economy (AWD) 25 city / 30 hwy / 27 combined
Recommended fuel Premium, 91 octane

This engine comes from the same family as the Integra's, tuned to deliver its torque low in the rev range, from 1,700 rpm, which is where everyday driving actually happens. The continuously variable transmission is set up to feel more engaging than most, with metal paddle shifters, early downshifts under braking, and a Step Shift program that mimics gear changes when you accelerate hard. The result feels more responsive and more deliberate than the rubber-band sensation CVTs are often criticized for.

Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available on every trim rather than locked to the top of the range. For Indiana winters, that flexibility matters. The Intelligent Control all-wheel-drive system adds grip in snow and rain and also sharpens handling on dry roads, so you can pair it with whichever trim suits you.

Drive modes run through the Integrated Dynamics System, with Snow, Comfort, Normal, and Sport settings on the ADX and A-Spec, and a configurable Individual mode added on the A-Spec Advance. One practical ownership note: the ADX is designed to run on premium fuel.

Interior & Technology

Interior & Technology

Inside, the ADX centers on a 9-inch touchscreen and a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, with materials that grow more premium as you move up the range. Several conveniences are standard on every trim, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Qi wireless phone charging, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, and Active Noise Cancellation that helps keep road noise out of the cabin. A Wi-Fi hotspot keeps passengers connected on longer drives.

Move up the lineup and the cabin shifts from comfortable to genuinely premium. The A-Spec with Advance Package brings a 15-speaker Bang & Olufsen system tuned specifically for the ADX, and Google built-in puts Google Maps and Google Assistant natively on the touchscreen along with a complimentary 3-year unlimited data plan. Alexa built-in is there for households already using it, and the heated steering wheel and ventilated front seats round out the comfort side. The features table above shows exactly where each upgrade lands.

Safety

Safety

AcuraWatch, Acura's suite of driver-assistance and safety technology, is standard on every ADX trim. Even the base ADX includes:

  • Collision Mitigation Braking
  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow
  • Lane Keeping Assist
  • Road Departure Mitigation
  • Traffic Sign Recognition
  • Traffic Jam Assist
  • Blind Spot Information
  • Cross Traffic Monitor
  • Pedestrian Detection
  • Automatic high-beam headlights

A few items step up with the A-Spec with Advance Package, which adds front and rear parking sensors, a multi-view camera system, and Low-Speed Braking Control. Underpinning all of it is Acura's next-generation Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure, designed to manage and distribute crash energy, along with a full complement of airbags. The ADX has earned a five-star Overall Vehicle Score from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and a TOP SAFETY PICK award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is new on the 2026 Acura ADX?

The headline change is a new exterior color, Double Apex Blue Pearl II, which can be matched with an Orchid interior featuring blue microsuede inserts. Mechanically the ADX carries over from 2025, and the starting price is unchanged.

Is the Acura ADX available with all-wheel drive?

Yes. All-wheel drive with Acura's Intelligent Control System is available on all three ADX trims, not just the top one. It improves traction in snow and rain and also sharpens handling on dry pavement, which makes it a sensible choice for drivers across the Indianapolis metro.

How much does the 2026 Acura ADX cost?

The ADX starts in the mid-$30Ks for the base front-wheel-drive model, before tax, options, and destination. Pricing rises with each trim and with the all-wheel-drive option, and final pricing is set at the dealership. To estimate payments or get started, use our Acura finance center.

What is the difference between the ADX, A-Spec, and A-Spec Advance?

The trims differ mainly in styling, technology, and comfort rather than performance, since all three share the same engine and drivetrain options. The A-Spec adds sport styling over the base ADX, and the A-Spec with Advance Package layers in premium audio, connected services, and added comfort on top of that. The features table above lays out the specifics.

Does the Acura ADX require premium gas?

Acura recommends premium unleaded fuel, rated at 91 octane, for the ADX. It is worth factoring into your ownership costs, though the turbocharged engine still returns competitive fuel economy of up to 28 mpg combined.

How much cargo space does the ADX have?

The ADX offers 24.4 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats and up to 55.1 cubic feet with the seats folded down on the base and A-Spec trims. That covers everyday hauling, weekend trips, and the kind of gear most compact-SUV shoppers carry.
