Engine and Transmission

Both the Technology and A-Spec models are powered by a 2.0L turbo inline-4 that features lightweight aluminum alloy construction and idle stop technology. At 355 hp and 354 lb-ft of torque, the 3.0L turbo V6 found under the hood of the TLX Type S provides a big boost in power. Chassis

Its suspension comprises of front double wishbones, rear multi-links, and amplitude reactive dampers, which use a pair of pistons to increase stability and reduce vibrations at the same time. Sizable front and rear disc brakes measuring at 13 inches contribute to short stopping distances.

The Type S is especially effective at carving up the corners thanks to its adaptive damping system and high-performance chassis bracing that adds rigidity for sharper handling. It also gets 4-piston Brembo high-performance brakes.

Interior and Amenities
