Trim Levels
The TLX base model announces its arrival with Acura's signature Jewel Eye LED headlights and features heated side mirrors and 18-inch Glitter Silver wheels. The Technology sits atop 19-inch Sparkle Silver wheels, while the A-Spec adds LED fog lamps and rides on 19-inch wheels with a Shark Gray finish. On the Advance, you'll find LED puddle lights and Pewter-Gray-painted 19-inch wheels. With the Type S, you can take advantage of aerodynamic enhancements like a front splitter, rear decklid spoiler, and larger intake grilles. Finally, there's the Type S Performance, featuring light Y-spoke wheels that minimize unsprung weight to improve handling and high-performance summer tires.
Engine
The 2023 TLX comes standard with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine capable of producing 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. If you go with the Type S or Type S Performance, you can take advantage of a 3.0-liter twin-scroll V-6 that generates 355 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are incredibly efficient, with the four-cylinder helping the TLX get up to 31 mpg on the highway and the V-6 models getting up to 25 mpg on the highway.
Performance
With every TLX model, you can take advantage of a 10-speed automatic transmission that improves engine response while delivering seamless gear shifts for quick, smooth acceleration. The base model and the Technology trim feature a front-wheel drive that provides incredible flexibility for zipping around busy city streets and conquering tight corners. The A-Spec gives you the option of adding Acura's Super Handling all-wheel-drive system, which comes standard in the Advance, Type S, and Type S Performance. This innovative feature treats you to high-performance cornering and all-weather capabilities.
Interior
The 2023 TLX seats five and features a wrap-around cockpit that puts you in the center of the action. You'll also enjoy premium materials like leather seating surfaces, genuine wood trim, and metal accents. Depending on which model you choose, you can take advantage of amenities like front seats with 16-way adjustability, power lumbar support, thigh extensions, and side bolsters, as well as a heated steering wheel. All models feature dual-zone automatic climate control with air filtration and a 10.2-inch infotainment display compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Safety Features
The 2023 Acura TLX comes equipped with a collision mitigation braking system that can detect pedestrians and vehicles as they enter your path and apply the brakes as needed.
